| I wasn't questioning if you have a valid license, that would be a different citation all around. I was just stating that a citation for not having your license on you is pretty cut and dry. It's either there or it's not. As for the ticket not being filled out completely that is not grounds for it being thrown out. The burden of finding out when and where to appear or when and where to pay the fine is on the person, not on the courts or the officer. I've gotten speeding tickets that had no court date/time info on them and was told to call the clerk's office to find out the arrangements. This is common in some jurisdictions where the docket may be full for weeks or months in advance.
